The way glimpse works is that before it brings a hero back, it issues a stop command to that hero. That is the reason glimpse cancels channeled spells, it's as if you were hitting stop on your keyboard, and then got brought back to a location.
^What is interesting isn't that Glimpse interrupts a channeling ability. We all know that Disruptor can send CM back to the stone age when she channels her ult. What is interesting is that it breaks through Riki's supposed "removal from the game world" when he ults.

does it also break through these few skills that remove you from the game?
Ember's Sleight of Fist
PL's Doppleganger
Puck's Shift
SD's Disruption
OD's Imprison

A question I asked earlier, and just had time to answer for myself.
If Disruptor "Glimpses" Riki, and Riki ults in an attempt to dodge, or just to deal AoE damage, will Riki return to wherever he was 4 seconds ago?
Answer:
Yes. The affects on the world remain as if Riki was still channeling "Tricks of the Trade", but Riki does in fact get glimpsed.
Result:
Glimpse is a great way of getting rid of a fat riki in a teamfight (if for some reason that Riki isn't smart enough to take out the Disruptor first).
What is interesting, is Glimpse works despite the common opinion that Riki's channeling ult takes him out of the game world.
