It depends bro, In your bracket I would say go Shadow blade, then Sny. Then Bkb and lifesteal. But if you can practice the euls timing and execute it properly thats already -1 in clash, especially if you have bkb, the euls build had a lot of requirements though. You have to win your lane. Get the Void stone as fast as possible. Just adopt the gameplay in your bracket, and you personally can make adjustment what to build.
The way i decide what to build on sf goes like this . If my opponents have mostly physical dmg right clickers and tanks i got for the dmg build and to match them like treads+s&y+butterfly+mkb+daedalus+hurricane pike+satanic things like that. If opponents are squishy and they have mostly magic dmg I go for magic dmg too like dagger+travel+euls+bkb+ethereal. for example if enemies have spectre morph or void or trax im not gonna go for magic dmg build cause im gonna die in seconds
In ur last sf game u had 4 of the hardest cores against you and u built a mixture of magic and physical dmg with zero sustain. with the items u built u die in 2 seconds without doing anything to them. u should've gone for physical dmg and resistance like butterfly skadi mkb satanic bkb cause ure playing into morph jugger arc u need to be able to live longer to trade hits with them
Couple of things about lower bracket is:
- not making items they need
- farming when they should push/pushing when they should farm
- playing the game to play the game and not to win it
- being overconfident by not making defensive items
- Rosh being almost non existant
- missing over a million of free last hits and denies
- slow reactions
- poor map awareness
- terrible decision making (fighting with big ults on cd etc.)
Work on these. Pick is your last problem.
idk how u could possibly go right click sf against drow or morph, when you need to buy hex to kill morph and you basically just focus on one shotting drow with euls bkb, you dont really manfight either of these heroes. you usually lose the right click battle to harder carries, although someone like spectre does incentivize going shadow blade for silver edge later.
Just always go magical because its cooler and better for uncoordinated pubs. Get Euls/Blink/BKB and 1 shot some kid, add a Hex and E-blade and 1 shot anything. Also get better at laning just watch some high MMR sf player, always go razes first + bunch of mangos and just bully your enemy out, your rank people never get enough salves.
yes Shoulyaku assuming ure always playing vs crusaders, assuming none of them go bkb so they can cancel your eul ulti combo. assuming they will alwayy be alone and not backed up by their team. what happens when u ultied and does nothing and you have ur magical build with 2k hp and zero status resist. I dont know i like both builds i just had better success with right-click sf against morph or trax than with magical dmg build. that blink eul ulti is basically 1 shot 1 opportunity. fail that and ure fucked
For the magic build, do I get BoT after euls, or blink? Or do I get bkb before either of those. When I magic build, I go euls-BoT-blink before BKB, and even then I tend to get ethereal before finally getting BKB. (Classic greedy 3K, would rather get other items than BKB)
ET u literally on a site where u can search for thousands of high ranked players picking SF and u here asking scrubs for advice, just download some replays and u will see how to build and play SF.
^^ just go dota2protracker and look at their games.
i mostly like magic sf because no one pushes waves in my bracket, so with travels eul blink i find it easy to farm and shove waves and make space
i know the magic build is more popular, but why is it better / why is the physical build suboptimal?
also the presence aura on buildings has an absurdly high winrate difference is that just because people take it when they're stomping / smurfing? because even with physical build the movement speed is still better in most cases I think.
