Depends on your MMR and server. In SEA you have to first pick if you don't want one of the three potential invo first pickers on your team to contest your lane. That results in immediate counterparts, even in 2k. If you wait to pick, you'll have to fight with the invo and SF already on your team for mid, on top of losing a bunch of gold at the draft.
