Why do we need all this shit? Why can't we just have a rating that shows how well you perform amongst the DotA2 player base, rather than cater to every freaking factor possible?
Yes, there are retards - Yes, how they play should affect your rating. You may ask why? Because even on pro teams, a single player can fucking ruin The International by making a horrible decision.
If you work well with a team, you rise. If you don't like unexperienced players or feeders, then how 'bout you find yourself a nice single-player game that caters to your individual skill level, rather than a game that is fucking exclusively a multiplayer game?
Imo only games in solo q should increase or decrease your rating. Playing in stack in solo q should've no impact on it. This way it would be much more balanced and it would reduce the problem of someone getting carried.
Option to make it private, if you set "private DBR" will be not able to see others public DBR, and viceversa

When evaluating your dota2 rankings, are you taking into account the following factors?:
- When evaluating the average rating level of a team in a match, somehow you should take into consideration whether players are playing in a stack.
- Having unexperienced players in a team takes more impact than having pro players, since unexperienced players can completely ruin the game by feeding the opponent team. Thus, when calculating the average rating level of the whole team, the rating of unexperienced players should be given a higher weight than the ones of the more experienced members of the team.
- Longer matches means the different in proficiency between both teams is not that high, and so it shouldn't take that a large impact in the resulting promotion of the winners and the consequent relegation of the losers in the rankings. Instead, short duration matches mean the teams were really imbalanced, and should result in a large extent promotion of the winners and relegation of the losers in the rankings.
- If the result of the match is what it was expected from the initial ratings of the teams, ie. the winners were in the team with the highest initial rating, then there's no reason why the ratings of the players would need to be changed.
