Why does the in-game Dota 2 wins/losses not match up with dotabuff stats? in General Discussion

We don't have a guaranteed way of knowing whether or not a match counted toward your lifetime in-game stats. We make an educated guess (which is accurate over 99% of the time) but it will still leave room for some error.
