Check out my invoker!! i'm not the best but better than average :D

Edit: You seem to rush Agh and then refresher. That is a big nono. You should get Agh after you are lv 17 or just before lv 17 or its not worth it. Against riki for example just get force staff, against bounty get euls to dispel track. Phase boots are not ideal if you are going QE. If you go 4-1-4 or any exort heavy, treads benefit a lot more or Arcane (if u rush euls). Get your mobility items first!!! Those are necessary to set up good tornados!

I almost always build euls on Invoker, great item on him (good regen, movement speed, dodging projectiles, dispelling some debuffs including dust / track, initiating). Rushing aghs / refresher is useless, stop building him the same way every game.

Refresher is incredibly situational, like incredibly. I've probably build it in about 5 of my 120ish games on Invoker. I'd pretty much say refresher's is an insult item that you pick up because you want to show off haha, other items like force staff, eul's (as said), even bkb are normally more useful. Invokers cool downs are not actually that long and his effectiveness does not come landing the D-Blast meatball combo twice (which is the most commonly refreshered combo) instead consider playing with as many different items as you can, I'm quite fond of going blink and force and using ice wall a lot, remember, he's not a carry so don't try and don everything. Invoker is most effective in a team not as a solo hero!

@Sarkin : O.o I find eul's very costly as it delays my aghs. But now that you have pointed out that it's rather redundant to build aghs and refresher early. Eul's is gonna be my new core item. Thanks bro.

@NP.Penis Monkey : You have made me realize that invoker isn't actually the kind of hero that should find solo kills. I agree that refresher isn't a very important and useful item in-game. But i played a game once that refresher was a fantastic item. I got an ultra kill while we were getting mid rax-ed. It was a fantastic gameplay that i actaully loved. That's the reason behind the rushing of aghs and refresher XD. But i will try to play invoker with the new prospect from now. Thanks man.

i dont have a link for top 50 invoker but i want to say dont go quas/wex against sf, it'll make you look downsy with social problems

you just need more experience on the middle lane, your kdas on your top mid heroes are very low.

Good thing is having forge spirit +cold snap at 3 level.I see sunstrike and cold snap at 3 level on most players but forge spirit is way better (low mana cost, can act like a ward destroying runes or letting you take it, easier last hits, more harassment).You can invoke sunstrike anyway to kill someone on map since invoker ulty is buffed really nice at 3 level. About item builds, i'm a fan of eul's too and having normal boots which will lead to travels later. (iceiceice, dendi, notail etc i saw making pt but didnt work for me )

Yeah, you forge spirits as you coldsnap somone, if you cant kill them invoke sunstrike and burn them.

And i just noticed,if you are on radiant side with invoker and against a melee enemy,you can make creep skip with forge spirit(lead enemy creeps to jungle).After you do this ,creeps will attack tower and melee enemy has to hit creeps to get agro.So you cast cold snap on him,walk near right side of dire tower(in trees)and when he is retreating hit more so you will be between towers(so you dont get tower aggro).It's just an idea,i didnt try it tho
