not rly, he was op back then cuz of shotgun and rite meta, now shotgun is back but still the hero isnt that good cuz of the actual meta

Shotgun never left... It is still a fun tactic but it is very situational. The hero is great late game but its hard to get him that much farm as it takes so long for him to be useful in team fights

I sometimes draft him if they have no stuns available.

Well he scales well with stuns also considering he can morph str when he is stunned haha

I think he's viable again. A lot of good items he uses got buffed. But being a 3 star carry he just takes forever to get off the ground.

He is good, but his core, is practicly one of most expensive, so you give a lot of time and gold for carry, that can be countered easily by some other hard carry, that can get online way before ( alche for example )

Personally i think 6.8 is one of the best versions in a very long time, and it has left the meta very open. Morphling will get some play.

Probably the only two heroes than need very slight nerfs are visage (not sure to what) and Bristleback (probably lower the damage on warpath slightly. 20/25/30 to 15/20/30)

Needs an ethereal blade to be of any use in the mid game, and even more expensive items to be an actual carry. no.

IMHO I don't think morphling is currently very viable, but I don't think this is down to faults with the hero, just the fact that Morphling requires insane amounts of farm to become the 3 star carry that he is, and unless you can get a large amount of kills early on, the game time usually doesn't allow you to get all the farm you need to out carry a more mid game lineup. Obviously if the opposing team is going for a late game lineup too then he is a very strong pick, but the current meta doesn't really support that many super late game carries (which are probably the reasons we don't see a lot of void as well)

I think he is perfectly fine if you have a semi carry mid, 3 heroes that are able to roam early on, and lack of stuns on the other team. He seems to hold fine against qops and Timbersaws if the player is smart. Plus, I still love morph., I would just pick him VERY situationally.

morph is still viable but he was better before because the hero pool was limited as fuck in ti2
