I think I know of a single dotabuff user that owns a fedora. Sadly he's not a regular.

Well regardless of the specific things involved in the video, its more the fact of similarities with Security objects. Some kind of psychological comfort from a form of attachment from these outlandish things.

Everyone has these attachments to common day objects, whether it be a pillow, a coffee mug or a spot where they sit on the sofa. I really don't see the big deal in it.
