For raw damage ( deso, mkb, buriza, divine , etc ) then yes

Yes. You'll usually get phase/pt, maelstrom, blink, aghs.

It makes you a very good splitpusher and can do very reasonable damage in teamfights.
If you get maelstrom+aghs with lvl 16 early, you basically melt heroes within a second. Pretty crazy damage m8.

maelstrom is fine because the chain lightning proc is reliable when you have max attack speed.

the chain lightning proc activates on 25% of attacks, dealing 120 damage. so on average, you'd deal an extra 30 damage per attack to a single target, meaning maelstrom gives ~54 damage for only 2700g.

it also gives you a way to damage other people despite the fact that you can only focus fire one person.

I'm thinking I should go for aghs if I'm going for semi carry cuz if I'm going for pushes I dont need it.
