General DiscussionHELP- need advice on how to raise my mmr in 3,5k bracket.

As the topic says, i'll need some help on how to win ranked games in 3k bracket. I'm litterly trash at this game, and i want to get better.
I have been playing dota for about 1 year now. Had a break when they released the expansion for d3, for about 1-2 months. Since i got back to dota i've been complete garbage. It feels like we get outpicked in most of our games, the enemy team always waits till we picked and completely outpick us. I don't have a very good understanding about setups and counterpicks in dota, at ALL.

So what i'm asking for is some good advice from some better players than me, or some places to where i can get more information about the game. I'm at a point in the game right now where i feel i'm stuckt, i just get lower and lower in mmr.

Any advice is appreciated.
And i would be very thankful for any help.
