the only game i played with bogi was where he was 0 10 mid sniper :)

I think I only played sniper like twice and got super bored throughout the match. Why play such a boring hero over and over again?

Any kind of gap closer (void, AM, PA) makes short work of sniper. Same for high burst roamers (nyx, bh, etc). He's literally easy win.

Snipers win rate this month is 49.8%. That's higher than Doom, supposedly the most op hero in the game. A few others sniper has higher win rate than, bh, timber, gyro, bh, ck, tiny, np, lion, meepo, skywrath, pugna, puck. I mean is anyone going to complain if someone goes puck mid in their game? Or lion or skywrath to lane support? Or wants to carry with ck/dk? No, people are fine with those picks but as soon as someone insta picks sniper and goes mid he gets flamed.

Sniper is a damn good hero, many people build him wrong, but I think the real issue is in games he loses he looks terrible. There's not a lot of middle ground, once he gets behind he's usually screwed cus he can be two shot by snowballing carries. Be he is not bad and I win a lot of games with him. That eww sniper attitude just ruins games. Like this one

We ended up not winning. But as soon as I picked sniper mid the nightstalker started flaming saying what a shit pick sniper is and how I'm worthless to the team etc. Then he fucking feeds so much I can't carry our shit to a win. end of game he is still going on about how bad the sniper pick was. Play your own damn hero well and we won't have issues.

Only smurfs have win rates higher than 70% and they won't keep them past a couple hundred games.

overall winrate of a hero is not meaningful because unranked/below 4k games are nonsensical.

I can only speak to my own games and in my games sniper is fine.

sniper has 49.5 win rate in very high bracket as well.(< 3900 rank) higher than weaver , dark seer, tinker , pa , terrorbalde(yeah). If you think that matters.

Look at the difference in the ammount of games we've played.

Unranked I play around the 4K level and I have fun. Trying to get out of the 3K is nightmarish and I get mad at everything.

I wish the mmr elitists wouldn't so blatantly disregard that opinion, which I backed up by this month's sniper win rating which is fact, just because of my mmr. Then Wave tries to say the win rate fact doesn't matter and calling people fucking retarded, then backing it up by posting an account that "is not eligible for inclusion top player rankings" because of all the no stats abuse and hasn't played a match in 5 months. He's right though, I am fucking retarded, not for my sniper opinions, but for expecting anything different from dota buff posters than what was posted above.

And I believe sniper as a hero concept is boring and generic. Even drow has more originality than sniper does.

I have found when TA gets her blink sniper does not chance of living though a teamfight. His really easy to solo kill as well

in current meta sniper - the hero is extremely bad. not as bad as antimage but somewhere there, at least thats my opinion.

i dont have the highest sniper win rate. but i do feel like generally when i pick him i win. with a 54.69% win rate

i am now motivated to raise my sniper winrate

incoming 60->70->80->90->100% sniper win rate look out.

Well you wouldn't know cuz ur 3k, but sniper is a great pick against most deathball heroes (viper/razor/dp/etc.)
