the strongest probably are Elder Titan (created the Four Fundamentals); and the four Fundamentals (as incarnation of the four basic interractions). AA will become stronger as the heat death of the universe nears.
So by that logic, AA would probably the most powerful and would kill everyone in a mear instant.
Instead, we got AA
Phoenix can destroy solar systems just by going super nova.
Technically, Void is rather weak in the lore. In fact, most of the carries are really weak.
Elder Titan pretty much created the Seven Planes, this world among them. So he's kind of an umpteen times granddad to every being there is, even those spectral. Fundamentals stand apart, however, as they seem to have existed before. Earthshaker has a purpose which Elder Titan acknowelges, but Raigor himself is unaware of, for he apparently shaped the continents.
Anyway heres the current status of families of prestige in dota for those who are interested:
The Last King of Slom - Deceased - slaughtered the entire House of Ambry, safe for their youngest son Banehallow, turning him into a Lycanthrope, for their attempts at rebelling against him. Mauled to death much later, when his menagerie of animals was set loose by Beastmaster.
The royal family of the Solar Throne, including the previously next in line princess Mirana - Presumed alive.
The Tahlin family - Exterminated with just one surviving member (Riki - Allied with the Radiant).
Ghastly Eyrie - The royal family of the Skywrath, presumed alive. One member fell due to a sister's treachery (now known as the Vengeful Spirit)
The village elders of Knollen - Presumed alive; exiled Sniper.
Ostarion the Wraith King - Unliving, involved in the battle of the Ancients. Underwent dark ceremonies that ascended him from a mere Skeleton King into something much more wraithful.
The Ecclesiast-King of Elze – Deceased after thrown of the Tower of Invocations; responsible for summoning Queen of Pain.
Queen of Pain - The unofficial queen of Elze. Alive unless ganked hard enough.
Tyrant King Goff - Deceased, having been asassinated by Gondar, the Bounty Hunter.
Magnus, who led the magnoceroi with the now-expired(deceased) Matriarch and has now separated himself from his kin, seeking revenge for their nigh-extinction. Alive and notorious for a likely PTSD-caused horn obsession.
King-mage Sutherex - Presumed alive; Clinkz was/is a follower of his.
The rulers of Candoness, including the Dowager Queen Tansis XII and her son, king Tansis XIII, long terrorized by Uldorak the Time Dragon, current state unknown - deprived of that menace by Davion, the Dragon-slaying Knight.
An unknown prince whose fate is unknown to us and who had lost a treasure ship in the Narrow Channel, a ceremonial rapier of his later found by Admiral Kunkka.
Numerous amounts of kings and rulers dueled and decapitated by Axe. Unless any of them had the guts to live on headless and partially limbless, they are all deceased.
Lord Birot, whose rule stretches over the ocean deeps of the whole world. Currently alive and in a symbiotic partnership with Morphling, who seems to have aligned himself with the lord after having descended to his new home.
The Fin King, presumedly deceased - a daemon lord whose arcanists prefered to banish his enemies to the underwater realm via magic. One of his kingdom's last relics is currently in the possession of Lion the Demon Witch.
The long late Lord Regent of Stonehall, Urthic Laste, who went down in history as the one to establish the tradition of Last Strike - the Death Bounty as it was called back then. Time has likely taken care of him centuries ago.
Yulsaria, the Frozen Witch, who ruled Icewrack and its closest regions with her ice magic and enchanted golems. Deceased, slain by the Eldwurm Slyrak so long ago that history can barely tell.
Shaldera, a person of Skywrath legend, one who ascended into the skies and returned with gilded feathers, going on to rule the kingdom. While she did rule for one thousand and one year, it appears that as of right now she is deceased. A relic of her age, the Empyrean, is in possession of the current Skywrath court Mage Dragonus.
Uncertain: Centaur Greyhoofs, however mysterious they are, seem to fit the spot for a ruling class - at the very least, they are in charge of the end of the world. It is not clear if they rule the post-clanfounding Centaur clans
My biggest problem with some of the lores is that they make out some heroes to be these all powerful beings capable of ending worlds with a single thought whereas others are just jokers like Timbersaw who decided to build a saw-suit. Yet in an actual game things do not work out that way :D
Lores are great though, and I love reading about them but they do not really correlate to the game we play.
"King-mage Sutherex - Presumed alive; Clinkz was/is a follower of his."
Question is, is he also a Smeevil?

I think the idea is that the heroes get a heft of their strength from the Ancients, which is why as the game goes on it takes longer and longer for your Ancient to revive you.
if by lore it's Meepu. He poof the world into non-existance! Seriously if u need lore go back to d&d, MTW, star wars, star trek, wow or lol. Or heartstone, d3, sc2 or any neckbeard game you came from.
Terrorblade, he's too badass for hell so they send him to a hell within a hell. Just think about it.
How powerful they are in lore doesn't matter because they all leech some weird energy from the ancients. Which puts them all on equal footing I think. It's like an exhibition match and everyone is handicapped to the same level of power.
