dont play during tourneys now, you used to be able to but dota servers fully crash whenever they are on now.

During starladder on Saturday, literally slammed keyboard trying to find match, one time internet is working decently dota servers are down

I live in Canada, I usually get like 50ms to USE/USW. Hell I even get 100-150ms in EU...
But occassionally I join a game and my game is stuck at 700-1000+ ping, it's completely unplayable. It only happens once every like 15 games, but with my luck its every time I queue ranked.
It happened once during a game too, lost because of it (200 hp enemy ancient, couldn't eblade a meepo in time)
Is this local, or is there something I can do about this? this is unbearable. My internet otherwise is fine, I can ping google for 40ms, 0% packet loss.
As of this second it's showing the USE/USW servers as pinging 130ms, but it was 800+ only a moment ago, and it doesn't seem to go away until I leave the server. Am I just joining bad servers occasionally?
