It's sad that Valve has to implement such systems in the first place.

Your first games doesn't show skill-level though, assuming by this: You've had matchmaking sharing off and trying to make hate towards Valve.

This is the first game on this account, and it is already VH skill. I talked to some friends who smurf, and they said that they also get put in VH skill, regardless of what they chose.

if you don't create an account on a fresh install of windows (don't work reinstalling steam, I tried), steam just copy your main unranked mmr to your new smurf account, but you still can easily go up or down
