yasha increases base ms by %.
MoM calculates ms after other move-speed items, implying that snipur runs faster than luna after making yasha + MoM.
also, it gives decent attack speed + armor and damage, all that sniper needs.
thats wrong.
all flat movement speeds are added together before being multiplied by the sum of percentage multipliers.
e.g. if u have 300 base, 60 from broken tranqs and 40 from euls, any % increase will be of your total flat ms (which is 300+60+40=400). if u have phase, which is +16%, then u do 1.16 x 400
if u got phase and mom, that's +16% from phase and +30% from mom for a total of 46% before you multiply your flat movement speed.
so that results in 1.46 x 400, not 1.16 x 1.3 x 400 (which would result in 1.51 x 400)
which is also why you want flat ms on bloodseeker for example - because thirst is a % bonus, and % bonus are independent of each other. if you get something like euls, which gives +40 speed, thirst multiplies that +40 by 200%, for 80 extra speed (i.e. you'd be 120 units faster to a BS with same thirst ms bonus but no euls).
whereas if you get a yasha (+10% ms), then you're only getting 10% of your flat ms, which only about +35-40 total, (as opposed to +120 from euls), because that +10% doesn't use the 700 ms value that you get from thirst, but your ~350ms from your base 290 + upgraded boots.

yasha vs mael - imo either-or. both increase farm speed, but yasha also helps you with positioning. mael gives way more dmg though, 120 dmg to 4 targets with a 1/4 chance is basically +120 dmg per hit if the lightning hits 4 heroes. (144 dmg +25 a.spd for 2700g is super value). i mean u could always get both, both are really efficient items.
yasha vs crit - yasha + mom means lots of attack speeds for headshot procs, which if you've maxed it out, is still a noticable portion of your damage, and it -can't- crit. so instead of crit giving you a 15% avg dmg increase, it'll give you slightly less due to not all of your damage being multiplied by it.
yasha also gives you more DPS, so it fulfils the same purpose of the crit, but it also helps positioning + kiting. you move faster, and attack quicker, so more headshots, more slows, more kiting. plus its cheaper and if there's shit to dodge with manta, it won't slow down it down.
Its the same with the drow madness+dagger build and pre spam of wraith bands...
They just don't know better.
cus yasha is easy build up into manta or s&y, both amazing sniper items depending on opposing team.

Do pros have such a boner for yasha on sniper?
More specifically, why do they buy it after phase + mom when both the ms and the ias are only slightly beneficial
could be a small crit or a mael or something, i can see how sny is great but the yasha after mom seems a little inefficient
