you don't need stacks, though they do help a lot
don't go for dagger before MoM, MoM helps you farm a lot faster so you'll barely delay your dagger

I dont play a lot of sven but zenoth's build is pretty good

in some of his games he went HotD first and 3-5 mins later transformed it in to mom, I kinda copied that. thx for the advice, anything for improving ^^

Support player has spoken!!! next lvl 5 man carry staretgy so gud. But for real thats an option I could make use of.

If carry, pt/drums/dagger/bkb/daedalus/ac. smthng can be changed by mom.
if support, soul ring/arc boots/drums/dagger/aghs

People don't know about the secret 95% winrate build. Get 5 gg bracers and you can dominate the midgame.

It depends on what you want to do. If you want to be a ganker and snowball go zenoth's build (mom, armlet, blink). If you want to carry end game go dominator, stack creeps, build your normal stuff like bkb, ac, daedulus/heart, basher maybe. Zenoth's build obviously transitions into a late game one fine if you sell stuff, it runs out of slots quickly, but it farms fast. But I find if I don't dominate early with the mom/armlet/blink build I end up needed bkb right away and don't have it and it sucks. So you kinda need to know what you're doing to pull it off, otherwise probably dominator, bkb/blink is safer.

couldnt you go dominator for stacking and then disassemble it, then go mom + armlet?

or are you better off just getting madness instead of delaying it by getting dominator.

That's what I did, get a 5 min HotD and stack until I get armlet by like 12 mins then change my HotD to a mom and kill the stack with ult (takes literally 20 secs) but as I said sometimes there is tide or bm or iam getting pressured on lane.

But I don't know since I'am spending 900 gold for the recipe, the stack might be wasted

^ if the tide/BM/who ever is on your team its really not that bad if they take your stacks. you can also solo rosh really early with HoD.

although I do suck with sven so don't take this to seriously.

What do you mean spending 900g? Dominator doesn't have a recipie that's why it's ideal to dismantle it. I just find stacking really hard in my matches cus mid will lose and then enemy team takes your ancient stack.

i mean when i invest the 950 for completing the HotD to stack and transform it in to mom later then 900 gold of the stack will be wasted cuz the recipe from mom costs that much

mom is not that bad, its pretty common item on sven

I still don't follow. How is it wasted? You build dominator, stack the creeps, build everything else for armlet (recipe, haste gloves, blades of attack) then you disassemble the dominator and now you have armlet + morbid mask. Then you farm 900g more and you have mask of madness and armlet. No gold is wasted, all parts from dominator built into the items you wanted. It's not a waste when you now have two items instead of one.

Zenoth disagrees. Sorta. What he said was because of how sven's ult works heart will do more dmg to structures while daedulus does more to heroes cus duh crit. So it depends on if you want the hp or not. I think going daedulus + mom without any other hp items though is a death sentence, with that amount of dmg you'll be a target. Get bkb first. Or go dominator + daedulus. Just my opinion. And I should give a disclaimer my sven win rate is awful lol.

What sucks is there are so many items that are good on sven it's very hard to choose. Basher/abyssal is also very good, so is ac, so is halberd, even sange and yasha can be good, and that's not even considering a 2 or 3 position sven with auras like drums, vlads, aghs.

Weakness of HoT comparing to daedalus applies to current patch, overpopulated by trolls/snipers. You cant go high ground, neither benefit from additional hp. You either manage to lock gaypickers down fast or lose, since sven is kinda bad against both previously mentioned heroes.

lastly iam trying to improve my hero pool by a bit, cuz i kinda i suck when not going mid
