90% of my abandons (inlcuding the last one) is because my computer crashed. The remaining 10% are because there are players scummy enough to make even me quit the game.
50% of them are because my net has decided to be a total dickhead, and the other 50% if i see no reason to continue the game, i only have 1% abbandon tho
1/3 from Internet crash 2/3 from wife unplugging computer , I got 1% abbaddon rate tho. Was stuck at 2% for ages tho

I left my last game because there was one person being a toxic feeder, and I did my team a solid and took the abandon.

PC crashes, power problems, Internet fucking me... I never left on purpose.
Not much to elaborate on with wife unplugging computer, I have been married 6 years been in relationship 9+ years women never ever forget shit so gotta choose battles wisely since u will hear about it the rest of your life even after u forgotten it , she'll be like remember when u did this ass hole and you'll be like eh I don't remember throwing a milk shake all over you but ok.
I dont actually remember the last time I abandoned, probably over 6 months ago because of a phone call

because i had 2 hours left until my final math exam and i didnt study it for more than 2 hours in whole year
i needed to learn difransiel and limitation in 2 hours but ppl was pausing normal match becuz dc player :))
and once i left a game becuz my sister brought her super hot hot friend home and i thought its sucks if she see me playing doto so i left the game and start watching game of therons while i watched it before becuz i knew she will be inttrested in that show and she will ask me to give her the show videos :D
90% rage and/or lost game from start, 10% computer/internet problems.
I only rage abandon when I have a free leave. The new low priority is not worth it.
It was literally unplayable, my team was that bad 12-1 the first 10 mins, an uncarryable game. With a CM who just stood there watching me (dragon knight) get harassed by a dazzle, and not even pulling or stacking creeps, just soaking EXP and occasionally stealing my last hits. Then said i was cancer, little does she know that SHE's the cancer, lord. Not even an attempt to right click dazzle.
played with a cancer brit stacj, their lina abandoned cause he was playing like shit and said he was bored, idiots last picking pl into axe and shit, i left after that lina left(luna game)
Ive got abandon on 3 games of 1500+, every single one has been due propblems with my internet connection or power blackout at my area. I have never left a game on purpose.
My last abandon was because I ran out of internet, I fixed it though and came back and helped my team win the game (still did second most hero damage /tower damage) - Here I have to buy mobile data, "There is too much cable theft in my area" for me to have a proper adsl internet
I've only had like 9 abandons, 4 of them were an issue with my old internet where it would randomly not connect to DOTA games for days. Twice my computer decided to restart and update mid way through a game. The other 2 times my electricity got cut by the government for planned load shedding

The last (and only) time I remember abandoning a game, is when I was invited to play with somebody else, and thought I had force-quit dota *before* it was loaded and officially become a match. Apparently, it still counted.
I suck at a great many other aspects of the game, but at least I can say I can try and be an example of not abandoning even during the worst of matches.
All my abandons so far were cuz of either my net dying or because Indian electricity is too OP (Gaben pls nerf)

I have two abandons, both are power outages. I play games to their conclusion even if its down to 1 v 5 every time. I usually win such games microing the leavers, but now they don't count. A year ago I was at 126 games with No Stats Recorded and 58% winrate. But they don't update it anymore.
Most people who stay for the No Stats games have good attitudes and both teams of remaining players are happy about it. But occasionally I get some masochist who plays to the very end while cursing me in all chat for not leaving. So they feel they must finish the game, but don't like it. I find that very strange.
In dota 1, I had to quit a game because the police knocked in my door an arrested me with no warrant by mistake. That was the most bizarre reason to quit. I don't think people believed me - they took it akin to "my cat is on fire" types reasons to leave a game.
I have 4% abandon out of about 1500 games. All 60 of them are due to crashing / internet problems etc.
Causes of my abandons:
-I get mad on teammates (they stole my items, feeding couriers, they intentional feeding, flaming...)
-Windows updates
-Intentional feed stop be funni after 12 deaths so i left
-Internet shutdown
-Mom or dad come house
-Mom or dad wake up
-Huge lags that make my gameplay unpossible
-Girl friend who desnt think im that freak come house so i have to shutdown.
-With the last pc if i press shutdown button (when i try to reboot it it longs like 20 min)
-I get sleep during a game
-I get bored
And mb more reasons.
