General Discussion% of players that understand what oracles abilities do?

Guess how many people doesn't know that Medusa's ult also give the stoned opponents 100% magic resistance.
It's because they don't care about those heroes cause they don't get picked that often

actually it depends on skill bracket.

from what I've seen it's probably closer to 0%

i dont remember it, but i play vs this hero like 1%of my games.

i had a dusa on my team today who didn't know her ulti would instagib pl's illusions. you'd think you would've at least read the tooltips if you were playing a hero in ranked.

Actually played Oracle 1st time and won

I never understood her abilities before it but using some of the in-game guides and the tooltips is actually a lot of help. It tells me how to combo the different skills. Other than that, it's more about proper positioning.

EDIT: I'm referring to the Guide tooltips, not the skill tooltips

I love oracle, it sickens me that so few care about him, especially now that his ult doesn't give invis. most people think hes shit

As long as oracle knows what his shit does I don't care. The dota tooltips are sad though, like I didn't know for the longest time that bkb stopped veno ult dmg because the fucking tooltip says pierces spell immunity YES! It fails to mention the spell is APPLIED through immunity but doesn't do DAMAGE through immunity. I got flamed so hard for not knowing that and was like hey! I read the goddamn tooltip!

But honestly you ask a question like that in game and no one ever knows. Like there was some other ult I was trying to figure out if it went through immunity to see if bkb was worthwhile, I think it was gyro's ult, and no one had a clue.

I understand how it works but struggle to remember what they all do fast enough usually . I think I have only used all his spells in ability draft tho is prolly why. O and I guess I plYed one game vs bots when he was released

1 skill charges a stun
another one heals over time but only after nuking you
the ulti turns someone invisible and works like slark mode
the other one i dont remember? i have a feeling that it disables but im not sure, would have to check

I find the biggest issue is the range on his Q seems pretty light considering how finicky the charging ability works and reacts.

Either way its depressing using this hero at least at the mmr I am at.

I try to avoid using Oracle. He seems so bad, but he has such an interesting concept, im annoyed by this and conflicted if I should pick him up or not.

he has poor lockdown and no burst as a support

the only thing he adds is healing and disabling attacks for a few seconds which doesn't win games imo

Q - purge and net
W - disarm + 100% magic immune + increase damage output of physical and others
E - nuke and heal over time
R - purges debuff and makes you immune to any kind of damage and disable overtime + heal is doubled but effect is delayed

The hero was kinda ok before they nerfed his ulti, but now every time I see oracle he loses.
