What is your MMR? Below 3k splitpush and rat work really well because most people are aware enough of the map to do anything.

When I play carry I tend to farm my lane because team is roaming around and fighting and I get tier 1 and 2 consistently, but lately enemy team always seems to have a snowball type hero who outcarries me because hes in fights.
How can you say "rat owns in every rank" without even playing in every rank? It's way weaker, although still strong, at higher levels and is less reliable than say 5 man.
pick heroes who have high burst and build shadow blade, run them safelane so you get the shadow blade fast
then feed off of the 1-4 retards who dont understand how positioning works + enjoy escaping from at least 2-3 deaths before they get detection. You keep farming while killing people, resulting in about 600-700 gpm
if you want to play hard carries id recommend shit like wk where you have a clear item objective before fighting (blink, blink + armlet) and can either rice or go fight early and have decent laning.
alternatively, go mid and win ur lane
Play good split pushing carries then. Like Naga, Lycan, AM, Sven, TB (although TB is considered one of the worst heroes right now).

im a 2.9k scrub too. Learn Shadow Fiend. He destroyes mid against anyone if ur good enough. If you get shut down, NP, bottle-raze farm your jungle and stuff. Since you will most of the time have the highest GPM by 10 minutes as a mid shadow fiend who wins the lane, u should totally consider your items choices. Sometimes a mek wins you the game, sometimes aggresive builds like yasha and crap do the trick.
Hes Strong early, can potentially deal 325dmg x 3 to multiple targets before reductions. One of his downsides is that hes squishy, but u could say that about many of dota 2 heroes.
SF is a good hero.
Qop and bounty seem very strong too. Played first ranked game as qop with average mmr 4.3k average and highest rated player on other team with 4.8k and I being highest as TBD (party rating). Qop seems to be pretty strong, despite me playing like trash.
I've played bounty as a roaming support player, spamming track to get my gold without actively taking farm from position 1, and it's worked pretty well. My friend goes dagon rush bounty which if done quick is undefeatable in our tier. 16 minute dagon 3 or dagon 4 gg
My mid is kinda rusty, only hero I ever used to play mid was PA xD
btw i forgot techies, but you should be familiar with this hero to make it work properly.

Need a couple of high impact heroes, and general tips on playing solo.
I've tried my best to talk to team before game plan things out but it doesn't work out, so I'm gonna practice some new heroes to play.
One i've heard often is tusk with a shadow blade, ganker style, any other suggestions?
Also, if you could give an optimal skill or item build to play them in a specific style to impact the game alone/with minimal help.
