bullets are definitely more dangerous, i read somehwere once that bullets cause a lot more internal injuries almost instantly around the area where u get shot because of internal shock waves, whereas with arrows if you do not move a lot after the arrow sticks in the injuries will not spread so much.
u can survive arrows as long as they dont hit major organs, in which case u will die but not immediately, like when ur skull gets pierced

which means that the entrance hole might be only a few mm wide but the internal flesh wound can be several cm, plus theres trauma from the force applied of the spinning bullet.
theres a technique which is called "duplette" where you shoot 2 shots with very small cadence (1sec or so) 10cm apart from each other in the chest area. this is used against drunken/drugged up individuals that run at you at close distance. the shock presses all of their blood out of their chest area, resulting in the going down no matter what drugs they took. (for example videos where a drugged up dude straight up ignores a taser-shot)
