obviously there is no general answer to that, every game is different

however, get lvl 6/7 asap. then force big fights, where u deal as much dmg as possible (when ur egg is not on cd).
phx is in general not a big farmer.. thats why midas is really good to get xp.

also, phx is really great on comeback kills.

If you end up farming, you picked the wrong hero tbh. Get level 11 and force fights.

stack auras, mek, shivas, grieves, and force fights.
