If average MMR is the same it will be +-25. If MMR is not the same, team with higher average will lose more, win less e.g. 24, 23, depending on how big the difference is. If you win 24 it means that you would lose 26 had you lost that game. But since higher MMR team is more likely to win, you see +-24 more often than +-26. And not like you don't see it, recently I got +29 and +22 in solo ranked. All time highest in solo I got was +36 and lowest was +14.
It starts after 4200+ MMR. MMR inflation/MMR points are equal mostly at 2k/3k mmr.
You lose either -24 or -25, and win the same amount.
If you get +24 that means you had an MMR advantage and were "supposed" to win the game, which is why you see far less +26 games...because MMR does in fact work.
Lower MMR team wins: They get 25+ and the other team loses 25+
High MMR team wins: They get 25- and the other team loses 25-
Basically, you see less -+26 or -+30 because those values greater than 25 occur when the underdog wins, which is, as evident from the MMR system, less likely
