General DiscussionPING and FPS

On my old laptop I used to get 25 fps max and I found anything below 20 kinda uncomfortable to play. Below 10 is completely unplayable. I find anything above about 130 ping affects my gameplay. Preferably I don't like going above 80-100 ms.
On my new laptop I get 40 fps and about 80 ping most of the time. (I could improve the FPS but I like having my graphics maxed :P)

A new pc for better fps is like HL3 for me

24 fps is the least for your eyes to merge frames.
Ping, I find anything less than 250 ms playable.

90 fps and 108 ms

28 fps and 42 ms

i used to play on a laptop with 6-10 fps, i changed my pc and now i have stable 40+ fps and 150 ping and my winrate increased.

100-120 fps

30-50 ping

playable is 60 fps and ~100 ping

i have 60 (tweajked the shit out of my laptop) and i play with ping from 40-180 pretty good

i used to play with 30-40 fps and about 10-20 in massive fights

^On my old Laptop, every time Zeus Ulted it would just freeze for a full second. Too much for the graphics card to process XD

Fps is the most important aspect i think. Get at least 30, but if you can, try for 60

I have played doto with 60/100/150 ping. It matters, of course, but it should still be playable. (You just have to limit yourself with certain heroes and not play ping reliant ones like the spirits etc)
