They still extra damage if they're bloodraged.
The only difference was in the past, you would take extra damage cuz of bloodrage, and blademail would send that damage back after amplifying it again, so enemies took double the damage they dealt to you. Now, its only multiplied once since dmg reflected is calculated b4 reductions/amplifications. But you still amp the damage once.

Last patch if you bloodraged someone they would deal 40% more damage, but ALSO people who were bloodraged would receive 40% bonus damage from everything including blademail.
The mechanic change you listed is about amplifying the damage given from blademail, NOT about amplifying the damage taken from blademail.
It actually matters a lot. Buffing fucking slark and nerfing bloodseeker's skills and item choices is a crime. Sounds like someone (including Icefrog) got pubstomped too many times by bs and that's why everyone hates him. I will search for the ones who are responsible for making the changes to every patch and i might send them a bomb threat so that they can get serious and bring back some justice to my favourite hero of all times.

Seems like this got changed when blademail did. Pretty big nerf to BS
