that cpu for 100$? that's not good at all
and its hard to say, you didn't provide enough intel. What GPU, you just wrote "1gb 128bit video card"
If you asked about is 100$ too much for whole rig, then maybe yes, maybe no, depends
Depends on what CPU etc. you have.
Please be more specific about your CPU and videocard.
it will run but with all on very low, my note is similar, i have i3 2,40ghz , 2gb of ram, and intel hd graphics 64bits, plus w7 32 bits, but you might get some fps lag, i run on my desktop at medium(i can get max but it caps at 29-35 fps) to get good fps(+45), phenom II x4 3,2ghz, gtx650 2gb gddr5 128 bit, and 4 gb of 400hz ddr3 ram.
I have a 2.2ghz p7550 on my laptop and it runs dota at 50fps.
it all depends on cache etc.
you might want to upgrade the underscore in "video_card" to an actual space, might get a few extra fps out of it!
fyi your 'specs' are lacking in actual specs. we don't know what brand the video card is. it's probably integrated, in which case we would need to know what model motherboard you have.
If you just find an event job, you can get $400-500 dollars within a week easily and you can get a much better rig. I guess if you're really tight on budget that rig will be enough but :/ won't be fun if its that laggy
am i the only personw ho doesnt understand what all these means at alll
he'll run w7 on 2gigs easily
yeah but what else
isn't w7 more ram demanding than xp? i have xp and 2gb ram and it's already so-so
amd quad core 3.7 ghz black edition means you can overclock it unlocked, $78.99
Yeah, for sure, but only on low settings, you should get playable FPS, run the 32 bit version of Dota 2.
Just a quick search in Google -> http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/requirements/dota-2/11352
Also you havent provided enough info about that rig. Dual core Cpu can be one designed in 2009, or some of the newer intel CPUs from 2012.
I guess it's all about a second hand rig? But you've got to be sure what are the exact components of that rig if you want to buy it. I'm not sure it's a good purchase. Seems to old.
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD don't try to dota with that gaming rig and please DON'T BUY IT if you haven't already done so. Are we even fucking serious guys, ddr2 ram and lga 775 socket with dual core cpu?
@Podhlaths Well... Considering my pc is 7 years old and it has a Intel Dualcore 2.6ghz (overclocked to 3.14ghz). And 4gb RAM DDR2 and runs at 50fps at highest settings I don't see why he wouldnt be able to play dota at at least low settings.
But yeah the pricings are stupid xD
You could but question is should you? xD
It would be bad experience of the game..
The secret to having good dotes is:
Nice graphics card, nice sound card and nice board speed
Before mine broke down i had an amd 7850/nvidia i-tr ish(?) best at that time
and mine cpu ran at dem sick 3,3 ghz
I was gonna say those core 2 duos were pretty good, that Q6600 a lot of people had for a long time and it'll run dota fine, but then I realized Q6600 was a quad core x0
Anyway the old athalon x2s suck now, but you might be able to get by with a really high end core 2 duo. i3s now are dual core with hyperthreading and they can definitely run dota.
You kinda need 4GB ram, most people have 4 or 8 now. Idk what you mean in terms of GPU etc.
