I saw Moonmeander ES stomp some team in a tournament one time.. think it might of been Frankfurt Major. He used SB and MoM I think. Was a fun game to watch.
Lion could potentially work if you gave him a lot of farm, but he already got really strong disables imagine with something like hood / dagon. Would be pretty obnoxious.
Invoker carry is one of them i guess
But it makes his 10 skill looks useless since u probably want to keep an alacrity ready and probably didnt get agh
and elder can actually be a good idea if u have a crowd controler that will make u sure u land his ultimate
ES kinda always felt like he was like TA 2.0 to me, just item hungry and has lesser disengage tools.
Also I heard somewhere from here that you could play tidehunter like a really tanky fast radiance carrier. The kind that could easily zone in for tower sieges and punish any initiation with a ravage.
^ whut invoker is already one of the best carries.. carries are not just about auto attacks I might say
abaddon is pretty similiar to OMNI, max degen + orb of venom + rad = unstopabble
how about PUGNA ? this hero is so underrated but very strong mid game.. his ward + ulti is really painful to play against
Give him sustained mana and hp(bloodstone and tarrasque) to go with his aghs and you got yourself a healer that could put wisp to shame AND could double as a shameless magic dmg dps

Everything can be played as carry if enemies are bad enough. I remember that I got once stomped by Phoenix mid rushing radiance... I felt very bad after that match.
out of the ones good players/teams execute as a carry, probably venge, jakiro and necro

On top of my head I'd say abaddon. If you max curse + get orb of venom and phase boots, you could easily orb-run(can't find a better term) nearly any hero.
Also, i think elder titan can be a really good farmed teamfight core, maybe as pos 2 and with a complimentary setup like FV, enigma..
Any ideas that you think might actually work?
