I've had the same with experience with my smurf account. But that was at 3.5k mmr and it went down 3.3k after winning a match with Jugg (600+ gpm&xpm). I think that happened because a Lina on our team got crazy during the early game and raped everyone on the enemy team. What I meant was she had higher gpm & xpm; hero damage; and k/d/a ratio than anyone on our team. So basically, I was "carried" hard on the early game that's why my farm went smoothly. I can't explain further, hope you get the point.
Uh, wait for the 10th game and then you get an actual number :). The top ranked person could be off if they're partied with a lower MMR friend.

my first calibration game began at 2.1k, by the 7th game it had risen to 2.5k (according to yasp estimates)
then the 8th was 2.1k wtf
i've won all games except the 6th, playing mid/carry with a gpm of at least 500 and very good KDA, which is what matters at calibration i suppose
any idea why 2.1k mmr at the 8th game?!
