saw the compendium for 2015 on market. anyone knows if i will still get the desert terrain or if i can level it?
you can't level up your compendium but 2015 compendium gave a lot of stuff to all users when the prize pool reached a certain amount, desert terrain was one of them.
if u activated the compendium after a stretch goal was already reached, you would still get the previous rewards.
btw i saw you bought DAC compendium levels, do they not instantly expire? other compendium levels did.
I bought it to test if i could level it. The answer is yes. i bought the DAC compendium book and 500 points as well and got the genuine sapphire cask that comes with it and some other rubbish. Problem is i cant find the compendium that gives the terrain so it's too bad for me.
The desert terrain's the only regret that i have in d2, because i want it bad but it doesnt seem to be available.
Well, you can get this years terrain that looks amazing imo. Only thing is you require a 125lv battle pass, and I don't think you can get it unless you spend some cash in :/
P.D. I think volvo should make the terrains more tradeable, they're the best cosmetic items in dota2, personally I enjoy seeing the terrain changing a bit across games
actually I believe all the 2015 compendiums expired after a certain date. I remember cos it was the first time this happened, 2013 and 2014 TI compendiums didn't expire, so they had a high asking price on the market as some sort of collectors item.
@lsd- i dont know, i feel only the desert terrain looks good. this year's terrain looks horrible, as well as the weather effect. imo, at least.
@Androgynous to be honest i wouldnt mind paying as long as i can get what i like, but the fact that it's untradeable is sad.
