Yeah, many people have that problem with Phantom Lancer, so do I, it's the only reason I don't play him much. It's no fun tping to lane, only to get nuked abit, barely living cause of your small HP pool, and already having to go back to base. -.-
Most people use bottle, vlads (my 6k friend uses this) and or even a casual morbid mask. I was thinking of Urn + Aquila on him, but I don't know.

May carries get sustain items so they can keep farming. Spectre gets urn, am gets battlefury/vlads, Sven gets lifesteal, what does phantom owner get?
