You are probably going to start at 2k base but your account will be jumping hundreds of MMR for the first few matches.
If he bothers to play for 40+ games. You need to wait till the end to get the mmr so I'm just playing normal now to see if I can get it to my season mmr

Hey guys, did u think that recalibrate mmr on this TI event is usefull ?
Just want to ask, if I have 2k MMR, and someone who have 5k MMR help me to recalibrate my MMR, is it will make a difference ?
