I turn off music and the in game music whenever I play a competitive game whether it be CSGO or Dota. But I just got a new computer and been kinda lazy so I put it at real low.

I like listening to music while playing dota i feel that it relaxes me while I play. But i find myself turning it off most games because people use voice chat and i can't hear them with music on
Might have some effects because dota is about mindset. Though for me, I can barely listen to the music that is playing. Feels like im lost inside the game and cant think of anything else outside it

anyone else feel like the music they're listening to affects the quality of their gameplay?
when I'm listening to chill music without words I seem to relax and play smoothly and more efficiently, fast paced music makes me an aggressive player, and music with lyrics tends to get me distracted from the gameplay.
