because yasp estimates ur mmr by the information of other players of ur games. at ur amount of games there is hardly a player with mmr, so its a little bit volatile. for example if there is a 4,5k player and a 5,5k player in enemy team and none else shared information bout mmr or isnt calibrated yet, yasp says that this is a 5k mmr game. do u understand it now?
also dont be confused about the term hidden mmr. this is just ur normal matchmaking mmr. the hidden mmr is used for starting point of calibration games and afterwads its a seperate mmr for ur normal matches.
Does that mean that if i start calibrating this acc it would start at 3950k? That wouldnt be fair in my opinion. Cause stomping at 4k mmr would be much more difficult then playing this acc down to NS and start stomping every single calibration game.
My plan with this Account is to see how high i can rise in the hidden mmr. After i see no more rise i start calibrating but until now its rising even if i play like shit. Thats annoying.
Why that? Regarding to cookies Experiment of Calibration NS/HS into VHS the hidden MMR should be irrelevant or not?
i dunno how much mmr u can max raise during ur calibration games, since i always start between 4,1-4,4k. u think its possible to raise mmr from 2k to 4k within 10 games? i would like to see an account to prove this
I dont know if this is possible and im not interested in proofing it, but another interesting question came up. How high can you get in this Hidden MMR?
i dont know how high u can get in hidden mmr but when i queue with this account in normal games the players mmr range is from 4k - 5k. occassionally there are some 6k's. but when i play ranked, all players have nearly the same mmr, around 4,3k. so normal matchmaking doesnt really care that much about mmr

Hi Dotabuff Community. This is my first Post here, been reading this Forum for a while now and im not asking for any tips and i certainly dont want any advice on how to get gud.....
I made this Account and tracked myself on YASP and Dotabuff. I made it into VHS and my Hidden reached 3,8k on yasp and stayed there stagnating respective the hidden mmr was dropping even though i was winning games. Then i had a bad day, i played like shit (look my last 5 games or so). It was my fault i lost them. But here is the curious thing i explored. After this shit play of mine which also gave me 3 LP games as a reward i checked YASP and my Hidden MMR rose to 3950 (https://www.opendota.com/players/365094306). Why the fuck the hidden MMR rises after you play like shit? Can somenone explain this?
