I know people find this annoying... But do I really belong in my current skill level? in General Discussion

Ok, I know you probably read a lot of posts like this, but I just really want some advice. I calibrated ranked as soon as i could (BIG mistake) and I just wanted to know, what bracket would you place me at? Or... Do i belong in my current bracket?

All i can say is: a 3k player would drop like 20% of all games in 2000mmr, so if you dont belong there youll get out soon.

There's no such thing as a mistake when calibrating. You'll be the same in 2k games anyway unless you get better. And if you "were gonna get better anyway" you'd win ranked from that same position anyway.

So yeah, you're trash and you deserve the 2k mmr range you got

        Dotallstars'

          U deserve more, like 2500 or 2600.

i pressed the random button on those 10 calibration games lul, player like shit won 2/10, cause only got bad heroes, and because i picked first i was counterpicked every game ,lul.
i dont play to much random, but in thr pubs i get placed with 2.5k-4k players

yes you belong at your bracket, you can try to smurf all you want. you can try to cheat a 10k calibration

but that won't make you belong there, all you'll do is lose every game back to your mmr.

nah man noone who tries to learn dota belongs in 2k. 0k=1k=2k=3k
                therefore, you belong in 3k

and even 4k is only a tiny little bit better (as in, you might get punished for your mistake)

mmr is just a number anyway, it hardly defines your skill.
In example (3k average game) I can force all enemy supports to rotate mid by killing enemy shadow fiend as a support, and keep them there during the early game, and our 4.3k wraith king (300 gpm) still will only have treads and helm of iron will by min 10 even though there were no enemy support in his lane whatsoever. whereas i've seen some 2k players get better farm in harder lanes etc.

No, Valve has a perfect way of putting you exactly where you belong with perfect accuracy and if they were wrong they give you +400 mmr after each win

                  Celine

Unless you played with one hand during calibration, you deserve your MMR
If you actually improved after you calibrated you'll win more than you lose no matter how retarded your team is

just played with a 5.8k player who you could see in match history was getting boosted by a huskar player. it was the worst shit ever, they were the highest mmr and ended up completely feeding and having 0 impact and their high mmr player raped us

@JDF8 thats an obvious account buyer. His first matches were meepo and wheres meepo after the calibration? And obviously he mostly pick supports in ranked and feeds.
