In pubs - shit hero.
In competitive also shut hero. Can only be run mid and then you are giving up your mid carry spot instead to a hero who falls off 12 minutes into the game.
In the top 10 pick rate category, every hc worth putting a Brew on to disable buys either Diffusal, Manta, Linken's or BKB. Or has a natural purge skill like Slark or Lifestealer. He's one of the best team fight picks in the game, but the current meta itemization makes him less than optimal.
he needs to much farm to be good, his ult is crap(cause of the CD) and you wont buy a aghs if you could buy another dmg item.
He's gotten nothing but buffs the past few patches, he's an okay hero at best, but as of right now against the current meta, and past few meta's, he sucks.
I think once a squishy meta like 6.84 comes along he will rise to relevancy, heroes like Axe, Timber, and more (plus the global HP buff given to all heroes) made it so his ultimate does so little damage against tanky heroes. He's just not worth picking right now.
