Just try to play at least a calibration game and see what mmr bracket youre in. Youre MMR will increase or decrease based on your performance (KDA) by maybe ~100 to ~200 mmr if I'm not mistaken. that's based on my experience. So unless you think youre in a good range, you can start playing calibration games and make sure to have good stats (KDA, GPM, XPM, Wards placed *not sure about this* etc.)so you calibrate at a good MMR. What I just said is just what I can infer from my experience when I was calibrating. I was paired up with 2.9k at first then I started to drop to 2.5k when I was having bad stats, regardless of whether I won or lost.
in opendota i have 4.2k estimated mmr.. and ingame dota i get to play with 4.6k-5k average player in normal match

im lvl 20 now but im scared that my mmr might me not that good... im planning to reach 4.5k mmr + average but this week im playing bad have many loses should i get a good stats before playing rank so that i can reach that 4.5k average mmr?
