The point of a carry is to be a late game threat but the problem is that no games last till late game right now
most of these heroes will still get out classed by a traditional carry on equal footing in the late game.
Hmm. This could work but you have to remember that with shrines, its slightly harder to " win " lanes. As long as the opponent cant stall long enough if they have some inactive early-mid game carry, you should win. But if they have shit like ursa or jug that can fight relatively earlier, i think it would be abit of an issue as the game progresses.
@TAUPEGOLD and bearcat0611: so what? 5 supports lineup is stronger in the early game as well, you can win fast and if you don't you have very good lategame potential

Most of my games are going an average of 50 mins and ive played about 20 rounds in in 7.0 - They have definetely made supporting more fun though and I can see a Treant nerf coming at some point soon, you can literally annihilate a low hp solo offlaner at lvl 1 with boots and orb.
I can see it, if you draft that way, you will take the early game, get kills, fast lvlup to use your op talents

so basically were advocating for safe lane carry lich and omni. Bounty is much more effective as a roamer than a sit in lane and kill creeps carry. Also a lot of what makes these heroes strong possibilities as carries doesnt come on line until your 20 or 25 at which the enemy carry is probably in a decent spot of his own unless you are really ahead.
Personally, I feel like high ground is allot harder to take then before.
Also the reason to get carries in non-captians mode is to first pick monkey King.

the hero is now super dominant at every stage of the game, crushes laning, gets XP way faster than anyone else, and is basically unkillable with pike+armor and his stupid fucking MS
Idk i am seeing less support now around the 3K mark. Every game no matter what lane or roll I am finding myself doing position 5 purchases just because the backpack has made it easy to swap and ward or carry some of that gear now. Imo it's due to a lot of new players trying the game out.
Jakiro has always been capable of playing a core position. Your example of CDEC's draft is ridiculous because you didn't realize that Jakiro can be a core, and always has been able to play as a core. Another unorthodox core we've seen before is EG drafting Tidehunter Carry for Fear way back when.
I've always wanted to try omni with silver edge mjolnir AC abyssal satanic daedulus + hyperstone and BoTs.

you are are very weak lv 14-19 where your nukes have fallen off a little and you haven't picked up +150 damage or your free skadi, then you have 2 massive power spikes. i solo roshed at lvl 20 and raxxed them easily

any stat item on venge is multiplied by ur crazy perks, wolf aura and vengeance aura. you easily hit for over 400-500 at 25

lvl 10: +25 attck speed
lvl 15: +8 all stats
lvl 20: +50 damage
lvl 25: +20% vengeance aura

just draft mid + offlane + 3 supports that will scale into late game with retarded talents
cdec (or ehome?) drafted a jakiro with pike+deso+daedalus
some of the talents are completely nonsense: lich gets +150 damage and free skadi, omni +100 dmg, bh gets a 1s cd guaranteed crit and +100 dmg
so you just draft 3-5 supports and build rightclick items, go as 5 all game, win early and late. No one needs a guy that just farms
what do you think?
