Why is SnY bad on CK but good on Gyro?
Before it was nerfed for ranged, it was a wide choice, I even thought of getting it on Morph. BUT now... why... why... why... still on Gyro

Because SnY is just a chasing item, which will not be good if you're not combative enough
People have more choice now
Dragon Lance to Pike which is more useful on ranged
Echo Sabre hits better
Drums cheaper and almost the same thing
HotD Alt Drum
SnY is almost buried but it is a 4000g item
4000g is like a dead borderline I guess
With cheaper items after 6.87 and 7.00
You would rush luxury after since they replaced SnY function better
I still like the ms it gives
It makes me roam quicker
However, it is quite the ded item and exceptionally good on just a few
when you rly need hp and a bit dps

its garbage , melee heroes 99,9% should get echo sabre rather than this shit.
echo sabre > sny for meele heroes
though some range heroes can get it but pike is better
lol you say that echo>sny for melees just because of the mana regen? really?
i guess if the fight lasts 3 seconds echo might be better dps in that case but otherwise i doubt that.
pretty sure sny is more efficient on almost any hero with already reasonably high attack speed. so like if you have only echo sabre or only sny on a hero with a high BAT, i guess echo sabre might be better then for the cost. otherwise im pretty sure sny would be better.
likeu say u dont feel impact from sange, but what impact from 15 int 15 str do you feel as an agility hero when you buy echo sabre?
well im not saying its a good item, just saying its overall better than echo sabre unless you are desperate for mana regen
However that has more to do with echo Sabre being overall trash on most agility carries and not sny being particularily good.
i would rather go linkin or manta rather than sny since those items have more to offer

I would rather go Heavens Halberd or Manta Style than SnY; Icefrog should buff SnY you so that people will use it again just like in the past WC3 days
still feels good when you get totally dumpstered all game but you manage to make min 40 sny diffusal silver edge on slark (needed purge too) and comeback monster kill destroy ancient with this extremely cost efficient slark items (did that at 3.7k mmr ranked game)
i say cost efficient because sny on slark becomes far more valuable as you get more essence shift stacks, echo doesnt at all.
i dont think the item needs an actual buff, maybe just a few more stats in str/agi and as/dmg thats all.
if im not mistaken its bought for the manfight stats boost.
Perhaps buffing it to include a miss chance ( sort of brood like) not very high 15% or something. Buff the Damage or stat gain.
I cannot recall the last time i saw this item since the ECHO saber/pike came into the game.
ES is mostly gotten because it has that mana regen.
or combine diffusal blade for slot efficiency ?

1. When or in what kind of situation do you get it?
2. Which hero needs it the most?
3. Is it even still viable in this recent patches? I rarely see anyone making SnY anymore, except for Troll or Gyro.
