we don't know what position you enjoy the most
it could be carry, mid, support, missionary, offlane, roamer etc.
play what you like
spam carry, learn to farm 8+cs/min and split push, easy peasy
if they push, walk and push another side. if the fight is good, tp back and join. if not, try to force their tps after you, and maybe your team can fight vs less because they came for you. works surpsingly good even at 4k.
Spamming makes you better with a single hero but not necessarily a better player. It's really good to have a small pool of heroes that you enjoy to play. Looks like you enjoy offlaning or roaming so maybe look to play those positions. It really comes down to what you enjoy.

True. Sometimes it works (spamming meta heroes), sometimes not.
I think the team with the most balanced pick are the winner.
I think you should focus on heroes that good for any scenario.
