but real supports are probably 5k+ while in 3k support start to get picked sometimes although most of them are delusional dimwits who can only suck xp
Before 3.5k calib, average ranked mmr was 2700-3300. Average dota player who isnt ranked is like 2000. That will now dip a bit due to calib cap, maybe to 2800. Most people only play 15 ranked matches then quit game.
The meta in 3k flat is 4 core 1 support. 3 core/ 2 support with jungler is 3.5k. In 2k you can consitantly win with 5 core.
This doesnt mean that you shouldnt pick greedy in ls. Teams will probably drop any seige/stranglehold they get, so spamming something like chen is not optimal for laddering speed unless you rice eblade dagon blink or something.

I know that high skill starts at about 3200 mmr, and very high skill is 3700-3900. I also know that this is really just dependent about the current distribution of all the players. What I would like to know is what these distributions are because a lot of these databases we have only have access to people showing their mmr.
