Skill build : Some people like to finish his 3rd skill first to go push the tower and pressuring the enemy. But I believe it's up to you. If your enemy can flashfarm, build 1st or 2nd might be better, that gives you longer catch/faster teleport.
Nature prophet is not about ability build, it's about how efficient you use the hero.
Even his item is really situational and no real core aside from boots, and he can choose between phase or tread (I don't think the other boot valuable to you)

Silver Edge, Scythe and Blademail are too easy to win with and then you get the talent at level 10 for 250 health. It feels good to not feed 30 kills a game with heroes I suck with in a game I naturally suck at.
