no, no, vanilla though that question has too many qualifiers to be a straightup yes/no. I put vanilla cus typically vanilla has toppings and chocolate does not, but plain neither one is that great UNLESS it's haggen daz which is just the most amazing ice cream in any flavor and then I prefer their coffee flavor but their vanilla is quite amazing as well. Like anyone who says I don't like vanilla ice cream has probably never tried haggen daz or real egg yolk based ice cream. Most companies use synthetic emulsifiers like I think sorbital? not sure but it's not tasty like real eggs.
