ember still kinda ok but his magic build get nerfed pretty hard so he is not as monster as before
@Mitsubishi DK can mid as well. But as tanky build, like midas > rad > heart of taras and butterfly, you can end the game with only that. Trust me, I played it many times. =)
mid try greedy hero that can snowball hard and win the game in midgame like invo and ta
the god tier carry in this patch is just sven the other are trash and situational
Actually look for Sumail, Fata, SCCC, Midones, hero pool in the recent two tourneys theyve played and you're good.
ember is okay but he lacks late game anti-carry properties ( which limits your late game to sshifting focus on killing the backline supports)
slark might struggle against meta mids such as ember, puck , lina,
sf is buffed coz of the stacking if you can time it right you can lane shove with razes then stack one or two camps after a wave. ( MOM SF THE BEST haha)

I think I'm about 12-3 or something with her right now, but I feel like every game it's first blood and couple kills then maelstrom and you can take out towers and teamfight pretty easily. Just hit the shackles cuz that's the difference between losses and wins.
tho an ns scrub, but any hero that can be aggressive on core positions and not very farm dependent is good. cauz of 20% reduction to neutral gold and xp.
Lvl 1 jungle is worse than it has been for years, but considering you can stack a huge number of stacks it is buffed in general. If you play an offlane hero like axe (or tide centaur etc) just stack camps whenever you can and farm them later.
LC is pretty good offlane considering a lot of popular safelaners are melee right now.
Sven is great.
Slark works but bs, legion and axe are very popular so I wouldn't recommend spamming him.
BS is honestly kinda shit because he doesn't exactly have a lane he's both really good at winning AND able to carry the game from that position, but I play it anyway because I am good enough to make it work in my bracket.
SF TA Lina are awesome.
Viper is stronger than he has been for a very long time.
I still like troll, viper and sniper, and despite what people say I still like TB too.
Viper's gotten nothing but buffs, legit carry now with so much armor and agility late.

in all honesty a single glance at the meta page of dotabuff will give you the answers, but if my 3k self had to pick:

If you want to troll the midlaner and make it hard for him to farm, pick Visage then Level up to level 6.
Deny whatever you can with your familiars so he can't take farm also make sure he is not denying you and when he comes close enough use Q, Medallion and make the familiars kill him (or make him take shitton of damage then W).
When you reach level 12 push his tower and roam around the map (boots of travel on familiars) and kill everyone.
The build i use is: Ring of Basilius + Tango -> disassemble Ring of Basilius to get resources -> Medallion of Courage + Urn of Shadows + Boots of Speed -> Aghanim's Scepter + Boots of Travel + Solar Crest (or give priority to Solar Crest if enemy team has evasion, eg: PA, Butterfly) -> Whatever the fuck you need = { Heart of Tarrasque, Shadow Blade, Black King Bar, Gem of True Sight, Blade Mail, Bloodthorn, Divine Rapier }.
Edit: Max Passive then W. Take Q just once and take the XP talent.

Carry= sven (idk but i used the Hotd again since the creep spawn every minute, and this is really working xd), jugg, tb
Offlane = void, beastmaster, magnus(semi)
Supp/roam/4-5 = earthspirit, tide, ogre, cm(only if most enemyheroes have mobility escape like am,mirana,slark,puck,qop etc)

I came back to Dota and I'm looking forward for some decent mids/carry picks.
Is Ember okay? What's usual build for him? I've seen people go Veil still. (guides from Dotobuff)
SF and Slark? I've had a few games with both of them, it seems that these guys are okay?
What about Sven and BS? Is going jungle with BS/AXe/LC a thing now?
