it is only determined by the difference in average mmrs
if your team is higher than the enemy team, u get less. if its balanced, its +/-25.
Someone leaving doesn't change the amount of mmr gained or lost. The average mmr of both teams is what determines it. Your team had a much higher average than your opponents.

So I just won a game 4v5 in which I double downed only to find out I got +36 while the rest got 18. Why did I receive such low amount of mmr this game.
