mid has more farm, so its more important to secure the midlane...if you watched some pro games lately the supports mostly leave the safelane and harrass/secure the safelane.
thats also why many teams dont pick very farm dependent cores on the safelane, they lean towards utility cores. like drow to buff the the other cores, CK for push, razor, venom, etc.
they also build utility items on these cores a lot like drum, halberd, blademail.
i stopped playing safelane completely
in addition to all the above, the difference in farm between the mid and safelane carry is larger in the early game than it was. so much so that they either have to be ready to fight or retreat to the jungle at 10mins.

High mmr players tend to say in amas/interviews/on streams that safe lane is nerfed now
It's clear that mid is buffed with that additional melee creep every wave. However, shrines turn on 5 min in so it's a buff for safe lane isnt' it?
So what's the problem with safe lane now? Wanna hear some high mmr players' answers to make it clear, ty
