You don't need to do something with your life, just do something with your day and at the end you will have a great life.

Damn, I did not expect some wise fucking shit like that on this forum. I'm impressed.
They are never the same. Sooner you realise this and spit out the lies of Hollywood, the sooner you'll be happy
What i should do : president of america
What i want to be : gordon ramsay
What i like : anime
Except doing something about your day in the end means nothing. Have a goal, if you don't have one, broaden your reach and find one. At the start you may not even burn for it but if you continue, eventually you will find that something. Then work for it, really work for it everyday. And don't think everything will fit after reaching that point. Along the way make plans for making that goal bigger, more specific and harder to reach. Always make it so it's out of reach and at that point and every oint along the way, you'll find happiness.
What I should do: give actual effort
What I want to be: someone who gets paid for doing nothing
What I like: DotA 2
It's the opposite bro. Small steps take you nowhere, they just make you go round and round. Just think about it, a changing move is not an everyday move, you need a leap and for that you need a plan. A plan that is part of a chain of days you could say which again means that if you focus in a day you get nowhere
I mean for most people, restlessly chasing a far off goal only makes u miserable and tired, unless ur ultra dedicated.
U may even have achieved ur goal but often times at the cost of ur happiness.
If reaching the goal isn't making you happy, it's your goal that's the probem. Obviously you're not doing what you need to do and what you want to do. In that case your happiness will take the hit. If you're not happy, not doing what you need to do and not doing what you like then I'd say chances turn very very slim of reaching your goal. Why did you choose that goal then? It's all about those dark desires, letting them take over. Do you want to be rich for the heck of things? Just to feel superior? That's not a goal in itself, it has no purpose. Do you want to get rich to throwaway money in stuff and feel superior? What's the purpose of it? Own satisfaction yet again. But is that really what you want? Or is it respect? And if so, why would you think respect gained from throwing away money is something valuable? Do something about yourself. In which case your goal would need to come from knowing yourself, know what you can aspire for and try to be the best at it. You think you still need money as satisfaction? Work for it to make your path influencial and something that is coveted. Which in the end, still means going for what you can aspire and be the better version of it.
Welp, to each their own.
A far off goal is fine just don't make it too specific like I knew a guy who once threw out an arbitrary number that he wanted to make 100k a year by the time he was 30. I was like uh why? I mean it seemed like a good amount of money but why specifically 100k? If you only made 95k then would you be a total failure? Or what if you made 110k a year but had to work 60 hours a week to get it? Would that be worthwhile?
Goals like I want to get this degree from this school and pursue a career in this field make a lot more sense and then the money will come. And you need to know what the money is for. What are your plans for it? Do you want to buy a house, a car, just a new gaming rig? Save for your kids college?
I'm gonna clue you in to a little secret people lie about all the time. You won't find a job you love more than your hobbies. You just won't. People always say find something you love and make that a career. That's fucking bullshit for 99% of people. There's a reason it's called work. I can honestly say I like my job but I can just as honestly say I'd much rather be sleeping in and playing video games all day. The trick is finding something your ok with and can more than just stomach and satisfies your financial goals.

When "what you should do", "what you want to be",and "what you like" aren't remotely the same.
