Basicly you only win if you destroy enemy ancient. On the other Hand this game is called " defence of the ancient ". Im confused.

It's been so long since I've been part of a base race game. Those are the matches I continue to play this game for.
I'd say generally, go for glory, destroy enemy ancient. Circumstances will always vary though, like pushing power of your team compared to enemy's, ability of your teammates to defend, without you, threat of the enemies TPing back and killing you, etc.

There's only two outcomes I dono how u guys can be so confused. If u destroy the enemy ancient you successful defended, vice versa.

If you defend ancient but don't destroy ancient, you don't win, nor do you lose.
Destroying their ancient implies you have appropriately defended your ancient, and destroyed theirs, so that's probably the preferable option.
But base races.
That's a different story.
