The average of the mmr has been pulled back and new rank works differently than MMR system.
For instance I have played 15 solo ranked games in order to calibrate, and even after winning most of them I have been placed in same solo mmr as before (3.4k), which seems to be the standard for Legend now.
Reminder that if you have been playing party only to calibrate you can't place Ancient of above cause that is solo only.
The system changed. I was playing 3.9k-4k average games before the update but it wss still labeled "high skill." Pretty sure you're staying in 4k.

Okay, since I'm busy at work, after 5 days I finally play some doto.
I played 6 party MMR games. After that, I play 1 solo MMR game.
...the ability level is "High Skill". It should VHS coz I'm at the 3.7k+ bracket.
I think the last 6 party games was the reason behind this mmr. 2 of them are 3k+, 1 of them is 2.5k+, and 1 is 1.9k+.
After this calibration, I think I'll drop to around 3.5k, which is not bad compare to some 8k who drops to around 6.5k+.
Solo: 9 games remaining
Party: 4 games remaining
I think I'll play some solo mmr from this point for calibrating.
