Pick PA after opposing teams have picked cores that doesn't counter you. The beauty of PA is that she reaches her power spike earlier than most cores (lv6, deso), and can take objectives much earlier (towers, rosh) and usually opposing lineups have no answers to her evasion and huge crits.
PA is good against squishy heroes, but that is only scratching the surface. There are many cores out there who can dumpster squishy heroes early, like TA or SF. You pick PA as an answer (at least for me) for opposing team's greedy cores, like Invoker, or you need a gap closer like playing against Sniper, and knowing that they can't do anything about it until they get a specific item (like mkb). But don't be fooled, squishy intel heroes tend to have nukes/disables and it is very easy to overextend giving them your lead.

She is pickable in a lot of areas but for her to be an optimal pick u shud avoid burst dmg from the enemy, and heavy disable, and is good against backliners that u wanna burst and low armor Squishies
Juggernaut isn't ALWAYS better, but he's often a better pick for pushing early and fighting enemy carries.
pa is super garbage hero, countered by half the heroes and many different items. her damage is not even that good, it just looks high because its bursty, but other heroes like troll, jugg, lifestealer or clinkz have better sustain damage in fights and okay burst damage as well.
not getting stunned as a carry means they are literally just standing there, so yes, all carries can get a rampage in that situation.

Had the enemy picked Sven? If yes strongly consider not picking PA. Equally farmed Sven with MKB beats PA easily. The only way you beat him is if you and your team snowball hard and you close the game out before he is able to farm up his items. Late game she loses to him very hard because of how hard he hits, the 2 second stun and how much armour and HP he has.
Same deal with CK but since CK doesn’t farm as fast as Sven it’s basically down to whoever starts snowballing first. If it’s PA she can blow up CK before he is able to farm the MKB since he has to get some intermediate items first, if CK is able to farm an MKB and a scores a decent length stun he can destroy PA.
I like PA, personally I pick it into whatever. Even into tinker.
With the new BF changes you can make a choice if you want to farm a bit longer, or take deso and dominate the map.

Hello as i already said pa's dps is not even that good, especially early on. blade dance level 1 is literally better than coup de grace level 1. also zenoth, your winrate with Pa doesn't even break 50% and looking at your other heroes, that's massively bad. and yes, item choices are a big deal. bfly is not very good, daedalus/bthorn is not good, new mkb is not good, you pretty much only have nullifier and deso for damage items.
i had a streak of red with PA in like 2013 when i was transitioning to dota 2...
this patch in so far i'm like 4-2 with her in solo queue i think, which isnt saying much tbh but from my experience playing with and against her she doesnt seem too terrible imo
She is not terrible at all. Well maybe I just like her and thats it. When I have fun with any hero I play it better.

I think the key to win is situational itemization for a specific game, apart from core phase + aquila.
Recently Ive been building eblade with some success on her which allows to makes some more "plays" with her. Nullifier also very good item, but you really want to end the game faster, especially against medusa in 50% of the games.
I have garbage winrate on her from first picking. Any hero that can't be first picked is garbage I believe. Even antimage is better than that garbage. Or maybe I just don't know how to play pa.

In general, PA is shit. It's a good mid laner when matched up with slardar/roamers who can build medallion

I started consistently banning PA in my games so my teammates can not pick her. Feels like shes is always a bad pick and when I have her in my team I either loose hard or if we win it is in a very hard game and we win despite having PA not because of her.

Pick it to counter mudusa , anti mage, weaver, drow and sniper. Drow and sniper can kill you with a silver edge though if they got enough items.
Works well with armour reduction.
Other than that avoid it. Dies easily with magic and disables.
sometimes manta is good on pa imo. against tree if you otherwise dont want bkb for example and they have shit to disjoint maybe
^ye but she is much more vulnerable to getting bursted while locked down
it takes practice and knowledge to know when to go in and out and work around enemy disables, but she is much worse off against them than other carries considering her hp especially early in the game.

When is picking PA a good choice? I am no pro or anything, but love playing PA. Recently when i play her, i'm up against some strength (tanky) heroes, mostly like axe or someone. who can completely dominate me in offlane and even till mid game.
Is PA only a good pick against low health squishy heroes?
Coz if the tanky guy stays in front, it's not possible for me to initate on him. In that case i feel like picking DK or WK, would be good for carry (durable)
Any opinions?
