valve will always find a way to make the prize pool higher than the previous year. they did this with better immortals at ti5, battle pass at ti6 and chat wheel sounds (among other things) at ti7. they will find a way to do it again.
if they aint planning on doing any battle passes before TI8 (probably lost millions because of no battle passes), then im pretty sure the prize pool will get higher.
Probably new immortal voicepack like spectre but it is based on pro players with his iconic heroes. I want to see NP says "Once you rat, u never go back" and "Kappa" in game
They will have another secret weapon by then: Artifact.
Unique cards unlocked by high battle pass levels? you bet
lol if they already implement p2w to artifact in its first year, no one will even start the game.
the only thing stopping a guaranteed larger prize pool is if treasures are banned as unlicensed gambling.
perhaps they will just offer artifact packs or some form of cosmetics (card backs, shiny versions of basic cards, board themes)

TI prize pools have always gone up but will this be the year that it drops? It seems possible with the dwindling player base. Personally I dont know how popular the major system has been but if nobody likes it that might drop viewership of ti as well
