With sukuchi u could just position yourself ahead of them plus if they run u could just chase them back.It better to spend 500 gold for survivability item like raindrop or wand .

You don't always skip boots
If you are in danger of being run down early when shukuchi is low lvl or want treads for stats, etc, then its fine
If you have a free lane tho, you are better of going for a bigger item straight away like lance or diffusal or deso

a better option for the first item would be besides aquila a dragon lance

^questionable, pros treadswitch, and treadswitch with aquila means you dont burn out on mana with sukuchi, dragon lance does not affect this.

From what i've seen pros mostly buy treads on weaver.

Envy plays this hero frequently and he always goes aquila bottle treads into a linkens.

I personally get boots on weaver when i see that enemy has 2 or more sources of silence. It increases your chances of surviving when you dont have to run at 290 movement speed while silenced.

I think the best build for weaver right now is rushing a diffusal and trying to get it around the 10-12 minute mark. Paired with your 20 mana break talent you burn 70 mana per hit which translates into 56 physical damage and most enemies cant do anything about you at that point cause they're oom
